Festive began with a simple worry: that our children, growing up far from home, would know every Western story by heart and almost none of ours. We didn't want to hand them a textbook — we wanted to light a spark. What our kids actually loved were stories: bright, warm, a little magical, the kind you ask to hear again before the lights go out. Exquisitely illustrated, gently told, and designed to open a door rather than cover everything — just enough to make a child ask the next question.
